Foreclosures and Evictions
There have been a temporary suspension of foreclosures and evictions for: Federal Housing Administration insured mortgages; Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac backed mortgages; and, USDA financed homes across rural America.

In addition, many states have similarly extended temporary moratoriums on foreclosures and evictions, including Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota (low priority cases), New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Prohibition on Termination of Utilities
Some municipalities have also placed a prohibition on the termination of utilities during the outbreak. Please check your jurisdiction for additional information. For example, the Mayor of Atlanta has issued an Executive Order to this end.

Student Support
NAEHCY is in support of legislation that will assist in filling the gaps for meals, educational resources and shelter for our children and youth experiencing homelessness during these times. Specifically, we are in support of legislation introduced by Senator Pat Murray (WA). Please see the link below for the legislation text:
