Welcome to Palmerton High School
A mid-sized school of about 550 students, Palmerton High School is located in Carbon County Pennsylvania approximately 80 miles north of Philadelphia, PA. The school district is classified as rural and middle class. Lacking a great deal of industry, the Borough of Palmerton is a bedroom community for workers in industries of the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area.
The high school staff consists of 41 faculty members and two administrators. The curriculum serves two groups of students: college preparatory and business/tech prep. All vocational-technical students attend Carbon Career & Technical School, a comprehensive high school located in Jim Thorpe, PA.
